HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE

499 River Bluff Road was built in 1925 by contractors Marcus and Louis Guth who sold the home to Minnie and Albert Heller. Albert was a retired farmer owning a dairy farm in 1910 on South Water Road and then farmed on Larkin Avenue. The Hellers remained in the home until 1937 when it was sold to Julio and Esther Nottolini who owned the home until 1976!

ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE

The home is a Craftsman style bungalow and is considered contributing to the overall historic significance of the area. Outstanding features include quoining on the corners, soldier course caps over the windows, stone sills, fascia boards, exposed rafter tails, knee walls, a brick and stone chimney, Arts and Crafts muntin door, and a deep open porch which extends half the width of the house.
