450 ARLINGTON AVENUE
HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE
450 Arlington Avenue was built in 1920 for George B. Underwood, constructed by George Andresen.
ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE
450 Arlington Avenue is a nice example of a one-and-a-half story stucco, hipped roof bungalow with hipped dormers. The front porch is unique with a rubble stone knee wall that matched the large tapered stone chimney. It is considered a contributing property to the overall historic significance of the Elgin National Watch Historic District.
